The following projects were created in Macromedia Dreamweaver using the XHTML and CSS language. These projects show the application of skills learned during the first semester and the exploration of animation in Macromedia Flash. Unmarked projects were chosen by their classmates. Those labeled "TEACHER'S PICK" were the most outstanding based on professional design skills chosen specifically by the instructor. HONORABLE MENTIONS were those projects that showed great promise in certain aspects of the site. At the conclusion of the year, TEACHER'S PICKS will remain on this site under the Hall of Fame. | TEAM ZOO site | |||
| Create a website for a zoo of choice in groups of 3-4. Teams used various online tools for communication, including a wiki environment in which they were able to customize and exchange files. Each student held a specific job (Webmaster, Designer or Developer) which defined a specific set of tasks to complete the project. The purpose of the project is to teach teamwork and simulate a real Web Team that both meet face-to-face or via telecommunication (online). This was a 10-day project that consumed the 5th six weeks. | |||
